The London White Eagles Soccer Club has been a part of the Polish community in London, Ontario, Canada for 35 years. Since 1998, the Club has also become known as the host of the Canadian Open Championship for Polish Soccer Clubs, under the auspices of the Polish Consulate in Toronto.

Stradford Outdoor Tournament

White Eagles Premier soccer team took part in Stradford Outdoor Tournament on April 28th. Our new,young team played 3 games.

From game to game we have made some improvements and we finished on 3rd place.

Scores; 0;1 2;1 and 5;2.

White Eagles first Premier game is on May13.2012 against Croatia at 18;00 and this date is fast approaching.

On behalf of Executives from White Eagles we would like to thank everyone who took part in our first Disco 2012. A lot of White Eagles supporters helped us out to make it happen and we are happy to see that so many of you had a great time. The first time we have seen so many young guys and we are happy to provide that entertainment for you!

Meeting with Consul Grzegorz Jopkiewicz

On April 11.2012 our Executives from London White Eagles Soccer Club met in Consulate General of the Republic of Poland in Toronto with Consul Grzegorz Jopkiewicz.
During this meeting we had the opportunity to exchange our ideas,concerns and plans regarding our Polish organizations in London,Ontario.

Consul Grzegorz Jopkiewicz was very supportive and open to many of our plans for the near future.
We invited Consul G.Jopkiewicz;

• To be part of Euro Disco which is taking place April 14.2012 on Hill Street,London,Ontario.
• To support our famous XIV Canadian Open Championship Soccer Tournament for Polish Clubs under the auspices of Consulate General of the Republic of Poland, which is going to take place September 1-2.2012 in London,Ontario.
  To be part of the XII Master Tournament over +35,the Jozef Magier Memorial, which is taking place in London,Ontario between September 22-23.2012
• To be part part of the 45th anniversary of London White Eagles Soccer Club,October 2012.
• To initiate open meeting of all Polish Clubs in Ontario to form United Soccer Panel, which will represents Canadian-Polish community in Canada with Government of Poland and Polish National Soccer Association.
• Last but not least to celebrate Euro 2012, which is taking place in Poland-June 8 to July 1.2012- where many of our members are going to fly over to Poland or to celebrate this big Tournament here in Canada.

Consul Jopkiewicz gave us a lot of promotional materials about Poland and Euro 2012 which we are very grateful for.

3 Annual Polish Indoor Zywiec Tournament

White Eagles Premier Team took a part in the 3 Annual Polish Indoor Zywiec Tournament in Toronto. Out of 18 teams from across Ontario our team finished in the 4th place loosing 2 games in the shoot-outs. Congratulation to all players,coaches,mangers and a few supporters who showed up in Toronto.

Right now we are going to have an additional practices on Tuesday March 27.12 at 18:30 and Saturday March 31.12 at 15:00.

On the weekend White Eagles Soccer Club was holding XII Master Turnament over 35 im. Jozefa Magier.

In the final White Eagles beat Kitchener 1:0.

XIV Polonia Cup

During last weekend Sep 3-4 White Eagles Soccer Club was organizing XIV Polonia Cup. 10 teams were competing over 2 days. Lakeshore A,White Eagles A,Kitchener,Gulph,Olimpia,Interpol,Windsor,Lakeshore B,White Eagles B and Mississauga Fire.

In the final Lakeshore beat Kitchener on penalty shots ,in regular time the score was 4:4. Third place Olimpia Toronto beat White Eagles 2:0.

Best scorer of the Tournament Daniel Jaroch from Olimpia Toronto with 9 goals. The best goalie Pawel Kalinowski from Olimpia Toronto. Sportsmanship award went to Milan Kopka from Kitchener. MVP of the Tournament went to Piotr Obyrtacz from Lakeshore.

Middlesex Masters Soccer  League - Sezon Halowy 2010-11

W piątek, 25 marca 2011 roku zakończyły sie rozgrywki halowe w piłce nożnej.   W tym sezonie udział wzięły 24 zespoły,  które utworzyły trzy dywizje,  po osiem drużyn każda.  Pierwsza drużyna “Białego Orła” występowała w pierwszej lidze,  natomiast druga – o jedną klasę rozgrywkową niżej.

W sezonie zasadniczym każda z drużyn miała do rozegrania po 17 spotkań.  I tak “Biały Orzeł” A zajął trzecie miejsce w swojej lidze, zaś “Biały Orzeł” B uplasował sie na miejscu siódmym w drugiej dywizji.
Po sezonie zasadniczym  odbyły się rozgrywki play-off.  Niestety nasze Orły z drużyny B odpadły już w pierwszej rundzie, przegrywając  z Benfika 1:6.

Pierwszy zespół “Białego Orła” rozpoczął od zwycięstwa 6:0 nad London Scottish.  Następnie w półfinale wygrał z St.Thomas 3:2, aby w finale zmierzyć się ze swoim odwiecznym rywalem: Portuguese A.  Po bardzo zaciętym, pełnym emocji i dramaturgii (m.in. niewykorzystany rzut karny) widowisku, trzymającym widownię w napięciu do ostatnich sekund meczu, biało-czerwoni ulegli rywalom 0:1.

White Eagles nawiązał współpracę z Abbotsford Soccer Club z British Columbia www.abbotsfordsoccer.com , Klub ten ma powiązania z BOLTON WANDERERS FC z English Premier League oraz AC Milan z Italian Soccer League, więcej informacji na temat piłki nożnej www.pass2success.com.

W każdą środę tygodnia dzieci od lat 6 do 11, chłopcy i dziewczęta, mogą brać udział w zajęciach sportowych prowadzonych przez absolwentów AWF-u, Jurka Gębczyńskiego i Janusza Kubickiego, w sali szkoły Thames Secondary School od godziny 7:30 do 9:00pm.

W tym samym czasie każdy zawodnik White Eagles może trenować również w sali Thames SS. Wszyscy mile widziani.

As of April 2011 we are going to have an open practices for all White Eagles and for all other players who would like to try out. Time 6:45pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays for regular players and 1pm on Sundays for Master teams and extra practice for young players. Place-- Nielstown.

Weekend of March 19.2011 - Our White Eagles First Team took part in Zywiec Tournament in Mississauga.

We won our group stage and we lost in semi-final in penalty shots, finishing in 4th place out of 12 teams. Congratulation to all players.
